Why you should have a Referral Network

I started my career in 1990 at a large life insurance company and was surprised when they announced that we would be offering Property and Casualty Insurance. Their reasoning was that if we could not get in through the front door, we might enter through the garage door by offering P & C Insurance. This actually worked rather well and once we had given a prospect an auto or homeowner quote, they were open to a 2nd opinion on other products, such as life insurance and investments.
